Announcing Multifamily Impact Framework 2.0

Boston Financial and our CDFI subsidiary American Community Capital are founding members of the Multifamily Impact Council (MIC), a consortium of more than two dozen multifamily industry leaders dedicated to establishing impact investing principles and data-driven impact reporting frameworks for the affordable housing industry.

We are pleased to announce that the Version 2.0 of our Multifamily Impact Framework™ with specific reporting metrics and impact reporting guidance is now available. Version 2.0 builds iteratively upon Version 1.1, which launched in 2023 and was the culmination of deep research, decades of expertise amassed across MIC members’ careers, and rigorous collaboration among industry experts. Organizations that use the Framework will be able to utilize an industry platform upon which to build and enhance their impact strategies and send a clear message that they are committed to meeting industry standards of excellence.

The Multifamily Impact Framework™ is a market-based, common framework of industry impact principles and reporting guidelines for multifamily properties in the United States. It is available for organizations to download and adopt at no cost.
