The Villages of Gaithersburg is a 168-unit family community originally built in 1974, located in suburban Washington, DC. Boston Financial’s Preservation Fund partnered with WinnCompanies to acquire the property in Q1 2023. The Fund’s equity investment of $9.8 million will allow Winn to improve operations and address capital needs, including upgrades to the tenant amenity package and the property’s curb appeal. 100% of the property’s units are income and rent restricted to 60% AMI and the Partnership will maintain affordability.
