The Voltaire Villas are part of Flexible PSH Solutions, Inc.’s Enlightenment Plaza community with 454 homes. Enlightenment Plaza is a visionary project designed to create a rich and supportive place for formerly homeless individuals to call home, while employing efficient modular building technology to help control costs and decrease delivery time. Voltaire Villa is a six-story structure with a total of 64 senior affordable housing units, as well as a 57-car underground parking garage and amenities. All of the studio units will be designated for seniors aged 62 and older who earn between 50% and 60% of the area’s median income.

The project transforms a former parking lot into housing and open space for residents. The buildings include open park spaces, and the campus includes resident supportive counseling and common amenity areas. The large central park provides a green space to promote health and wellness for residents, and Enlightenment Plaza as a whole meets 2020 Cal Green sustainability goals through energy saving features include water conserving design, extensive solar panels, all electric living, and LED lighting fixtures with occupancy sensors.
